Carrying another piece of kit is usually the last thing you need whether you're traveling for leisure, or work which is why Regional BGAN has been designed for those who need to travel light.
Regional BGAN is a true plug and play solution that works with either your laptop PC or PDA via USB, Bluetooth or Ethernet interfaces. The set up process is automated so all you need to do is connect your PC via your chosen port, lift the lid of the terminal (which is the antenna), point it in the satellite direction and log on. Then you are able to work as if you were sitting in your office.

Inmarsat's satellite technology will provide you with a fast, efficient connection, that allows you to download 50K files, e-mail or attachments in approximately 10 seconds.
Advanced spot-beam technology will allow Inmarsat to maintain a footprint stretching across 99 countries from Western Europe and the northern half of Africa, across central and Eastern Europe, the southern CIS countries, to the Middle East and the Indian sub-continent. The maximum bandwidth within each spot-beam is 144kbit/s. Since Regional BGAN is a packet data network, the average bandwidth that is available is shared among several connected users if they transmit data at the same time. The Regional BGAN system allocates this capacity wherever needed - invisibly to the end-user. Based on Inmarsat's prediction of traffic and capacity, we estimate users will continually experience transfer rates equivalent to more than double those offered by current terrestrial GPRS services over a three-minute period. Post Paid Airtime:
One time Activation Fee of $ 45.00 per SIM Card per Plan with a monthly service Fee of $37.00.
Airtime will be billed in 1/10 of a MegaByte increments (approximately 100 Kilobytes)
All Service Agreements are for a period of ONE YEAR, automatically renewed unless otherwise noted. Please note that there is an early cancellation fee of $200.00 that will be applied to the account if the account is closed before the end of the first year.

Zone 2 (Remainder of Service Area Footprint) - $6.60/Megabyte (U.S.D.)
Emergency Plan:
Optional Service enabling activation for immediate use, but with less call volume. No monthly service fee.
Incurs an annual fee of $350.00 with airtime at post-paid airtime rates (see above).
