GlobalCom Announced a Partnership with Telenor Satellite Services North America
In June 2006, GlobalCom Satellite Communications announced a partnership with Telenor Satellite Services North America to make available Inmarsat satellite equipment and services to all customers.Globalcom and Telenor understand the need to stay ahead of the competition. Building on the strength of Telenor’s portfolio of Inmarsat Broadband Solutions, GlobalCom and Telenor are set to offer additional bandwidth options. This will enable greater flexibility and mobility for customers seeking both reliability and speed in Internet and IP-based broadband communications. This partnership will expand the Globalcom product line to include the new Inmarsat BGAN terminals. Increasing the power of global coverage, Inmarsat is now offering additional coverage areas in North America for broadband solutions.
