Send a FREE 35-character Text Message to a Globalstar Satellite Phone

In yet another enhancement to the Globalstar network, 35-character SMS (Short Messaging Service) is now available. This nearly doubles previous character length and allows for longer messages to be sent. SMS is a great way for people to send group notifications to Globalstar Users, or just quick updates such as “Call Me” or “Meeting rescheduled.” The user can only receive messages but not respond to messages from the keyboard of the phone.

Sending and receiving Globalstar SMS messages is free and can be sent in two ways:

Note: A message can also be sent through email by entering the 10 digit satellite number of the intended recipient @msg.globalstarusa.com (e.g. 2541234567@msg.globalstarusa.com).
